This workshop will provide participants the knowledge of "art as therapy" and how they incorporate this into their daily self-care practice. We will investigate the importance of Self-Love and compassion and why this is very important to keep whole and full in our ever so busy lives! Participants will tap into their inner child, mind, body, and soul through mindfulness meditation and body scanning. Through this we will investigate an intention related to self-love and compassion we would like to explore. Participants will create imagery related to their body scanning process using oil pastels to connect to their inner self and from their create a larger Self-Care shrine from recycled materials. This shrine will encompass and embody what each individual would like to continue using in their practice as well as additional elements they would like to add or explore.
