From Spring Clean to Spring Relating…
We open the month of September, with a big Virgo emphasis, which is hyper-focused. For the first half of the month we’ll be gathering all the details and organising them. Working on several things at once. Virgo symbolises methodology, efficiency, precision and perfection.
You may find yourself in ordering mode; polishing, improving and perfecting until the outcome is precise and exacting.
Virgo wants clean lines, clean ledgers, clean drawers and a clear mind. Virgo will be meticulous and dutiful; problem solving just about everything, through analytical and physical productiveness, efficiency and conscientious service to others.
With all this, ‘in your head’, detail-oriented energy, you will be busy but it may be quite boring and mundane. Dealing with fine print or small details usually is.
You might get bogged down in specifics; becoming critical, fussy, trivial and even a bit neurotic! There might be too much on your plate and you are struggling to sort it all out. Be easy on yourself; an outcome is still an outcome, even if it is not perfect.
Creating any type of space through order or structure is beneficial. If you find yourself becoming overly anxious, picky, restless or fretting (this may present itself as nausea, stomach ailments, digestive issues – all the realm of Virgo) then you need to take a step back and ask “who does this serve?” Am I actually being of dis-service to myself and others around me?
Earthy energy abounds, because Saturn and Pluto are currently transiting earth sign Capricorn, along with the Virgo pileup and Uranus in Taurus, therefore you may be in for long hours, relentless double-checking, or long, detailed meetings.
The Virgo stellium, made up of the inner, personal planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars), is having an important but friendly conversation with Saturn, Pluto and South Node. This is a classic Virgo ‘clean sweep’ or spring clean.
As Saturn and Pluto are both currently retrograde, this is a conversation at an internal level or an inner, reflective dialogue, inviting us to look at:
how we order and structure ourselves,
how or what we may be fearful about in our daily life and routine,
are we in control of our inner critic?
how do we serve others both positively and negatively,
and finally, how we go about serving ourselves through routine, health and well-being.
When a planet is in retrograde motion, the dialogue or action points, become personal, internal, an opportunity to ‘stand-still’ and reflect, review, re-frame certain areas in our life.
The Universe is really asking us to pay attention to how we cope with frenetic energy in regular, daily life. Are we reliable, responsible, determined and persistent? Do we look after our health and well-being during busy periods?
Or are we rebellious, irresponsible, delusional or passive.
When Saturn stations Direct on the 18th of September, we can start to be more proactive or cohesive or structured at an external level. “Back to the plan”, so to speak. BAU (Business as Usual)
The Full Moon - Bangkok
14th September approx. 11:30 am. Houses 4th -10th
This Full moon could perhaps be emotional or confusing. There could be over-sensitivities, emotional conflicts or disputes, self-sabotaging or addictive behaviour or passive aggression.
Here in Bangkok it will fall in the Cardinal, Yin, Water/Earth, 4th and 10th houses of Cancer and Capricorn – highlighting family, home, homeland, belonging and also, profession, status, authority, foundations.
Jupiter and Neptune are involved in this full moon, which can make the energy visionary, entrepreneurial or ground-breaking but it also has the potential for inflation, over-expansion, delusion or confusion.
The combination of Jupiter and Neptune can magnify our biggest dreams, imaginings and intuition but it can also amplify fantasy, delusion and escapist patterns.
It’s a great time to dream big but don’t fall prey to deception. If it seems too good to be true, it is wise to exercise restraint and caution, especially when it comes to both our professional and personal lives.
Keep big ideas real. There is a big difference between fantastic and fantasy!
Visionary rather than over-reaching.
Aspiration, inspiration, imagination; anything is possible but stick to calculated risk-taking, recognising limits, “grounded dreaming”.
Keep in touch with reality, but see how close you can get to epiphany’s or enlightenment.
The first half of the month is the perfect time for you to engage in your preferred spiritual practice. And be dedicated and persistent with it.
The collective mood will shift quite dramatically mid-month, with Venus and Mercury moving into Libra, followed by the Sun and Moon later in the month.
We start to become more objective. Libra is looking for balance, peace and harmony; particularly with finding equality between the head and the heart space.
We look at life through relationships, connections, unions and co-operation.
Rather than through the lens of analytical and cognitive processes that Virgo demands.
The new moon on the 28th is a sweet deal, with a soft Mars and dignified Venus hugging the Moon and Sun tightly, in a big cuddle puddle in the 4th house area of family, home, homeland, nurturing and belonging. Mercury is in there too, making it a little fun and playful.
The chaperones of this gorgeous stellium are Pluto and Saturn, keeping things in check, watching over this joyful encounter that the inner planets are having; sitting just above the horizon, up in the 7th house (Libra’s house!) of relating, values, diplomacy and sharing. These heavy planets feel just a bit lighter here, reflecting an energy of cautious optimism.
Saturn and Pluto, are applying some mutually constructive action when it comes to relationships. Conducive to finding an outcome that everyone can live with. Consideration of others. Perhaps some dynamic tension to enact growth in relationships.
Overall, September is energetically, two differing moods:
Contextualising, structuring, ordering and detail.
Enduring productivity; slowly and steadily working towards a solid end goal.
Mid-month it is time to really open up the heart space, especially when it comes to familial and business relationships.
Seek balance and equality with others without compromising values or inner authority.
